• The Basic Education Coalition works to enhance awareness of the fundamental importance of basic education and to increase resources and commitment to quality education. It analyses and disseminates information about links between education, health and economic growth and highlights success stories.  For reports on success stories see, "What’s Working"

• The Center for Global Development is dedicated to reducing global poverty and inequality through policy-oriented research and active engagement on development issues with the policy community and the public. A principal focus of the Center's work is the policies of the United States and other industrial countries that affect development prospects in poor countries. Find details on rich countries' relative contributions to development; a special report on success stories and "What Works" in global health; and a special nonpartisan program to raise awareness of development issues during the 2004 election.

• InterAction's Committee on Development Policy and Practice facilitates dialogue, collaboration and action at program and policy levels on priority development concerns of InterAction members and their southern partners in reducing poverty, promoting equity and promoting sustainable development.  Sign up for any number of InterAction’s email update lists.

• Kaiser Daily Reports provide three daily online reports -- summaries of news stories with links to the original articles and a fully searchable archive. The Kaiser Daily Health Policy Report, the Kaiser Daily HIV/AIDS Report, and the Kaiser Daily Reproductive Health Report, report on legislative, political, legal, scientific, and business developments in each area.

• The Organization for Economic Co-Operation and Development's Development Center brings together the knowledge and experience in member countries; adapts the knowledge and experience to the real needs of countries or regions in the process of development; and widely disseminates results.

• The United Nations Development Programme uses its global network to help the UN system and its partners to raise awareness and track progress, while it connects countries to the knowledge and resources needed to achieve goals of reducing poverty, hunger, disease, illiteracy, environmental degradation and discrimination against women by 2015 as part of the Millennium Development Goals.

• The World Bank Group's mission is to fight poverty and improve the living standards of people in the developing world. It is a development Bank which provides loans, policy advice, technical assistance and knowledge sharing services to low and middle income countries to reduce poverty.
